What do you do at PMMI Media Group?
I'm a Data Analytics Coordinator at PMMI Media Group, where I help turn data into meaningful insights that support audience growth, reporting, and business decisions. My work includes processing and validating data, calculating audience metrics, supporting dashboards and reports, managing newsletter list opt-ins, cleaning company and contact records, testing webforms, and assisting with print and data fulfillment projects. I've also started dabbling more in coding, which has allowed me to build tools and workflows that make processes more efficient and improve data accuracy.
How long have you worked for PMMI Media Group?
I joined PMMI Media Group on December 5, 2022, so I’ve been here for a little over three years.
What is your favorite part about what you do?
My favorite part of what I do is turning data into meaningful insights that help guide decisions. I enjoy taking raw information, identifying trends, and using that data to support audience growth, engagement, and overall business strategy. I also enjoy that my role allows me to keep learning and expanding my skill set. Recently, I’ve started dabbling more in coding, which has been exciting because it gives me new ways to work with data more efficiently and think more creatively about solving problems.
What is a trending topic that you're keeping a close eye on in packaging and processing/marketing/technology?
Sustainability is one of the biggest topics I’m paying attention to,especially when it comes to how packaging is being redesigned to reduce waste while still maintaining quality, performance, and efficiency. What stands out to me is that sustainability is no longer separate from innovation, it’s becoming a core part of how companies think about packaging from the start.
How did you discover/end up in the packaging/processing industry?
I was first exposed to the packaging and processing industry in my previous role at an incense company, where I worked in marketing. Even though my role focused on digital marketing, I had the opportunity to see another side of the business and learn more about how products were actually packaged and brought to market. I visited facilities that produced our packaging, and we also had machines on site that were used to package products. Seeing that process firsthand was fascinating to me. It gave me a greater appreciation for the level of detail, coordination, and technology involved in packaging and processing, and that early exposure is what sparked my interest in the industry.
What has been your proudest moment ormost significant project since joining the team?
One of my proudest moments since joining the team has been seeing how much I’ve grown in my role. As I became more familiar with our data and processes, I started looking for ways to make things more efficient, accurate, and easier to manage. That pushed me to start exploring coding and building programs that help automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual errors, and save time. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning, improving processes, and finding better ways to get things done. It’s been really rewarding to not only support the team through data, but also to create solutions that make a real impact behind the scenes.
How would you describe the PMMI Media Group team culture?
I would describe the PMMI Media Group team culture as collaborative, supportive, and driven. Everyone brings a strong level of expertise to the table, and there’s a shared commitment to continuous improvement, adaptability, and using data and insights to better serve our audience.
Fun fact about yourself?
I have an adorable pet bunny, who is 6 years old. He is a fluffy ball of delight and 2 lbs. of pure feistiness.
